Dale Brady opened the meeting at 7:05 pm, with 24 people in attendance.
Tom Kennedy gave the Treasurer’s Report, $551.11 in the bank account. $53.00 in donations was collected at the meeting.
Vince Lombardi reported that he and Dale are working on changes to the website. If anyone has content or photos for the website, email it to Vince, who is also producing a bi-monthly email newsletter. Let him know of any upcoming events at email@example.com.

August: No formal meeting to be held (County Fair Week) Possible weekend workshops/field trips.
September: Affordable Solar/Passive Solar - Vince Lombardi & Randall Ashelman
-The Farmer’s Daughter market and butcher will be opening in Capon Bridge the end of May.
-The French’s Mill garden center is open.
-Romney Farmer’s Market is held Saturdays 8-12 in from of the Wellness Center in Romney, and will be held on Wednesdays at the Bottling Works.
Main Presentation: Sanitation, presented by Andy Herbaugh and Elli White.
Topics included how to deal with human and animal waste, emergency methods (when there’s no water or power to flush!), long term methods (composting toilets, using urine for fertilizer), the importance of proper sanitation to prevent illness and spread of disease, humanure and composting.
